Samsung launches Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition

Samsung has launched its limited-edition Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition smartphone. The handset will be available in South Korea on Wednesday before arriving in China and Hong Kong in June.

The handset is based on Iron Man’s suit. The front and rear panels are dark red, while the side bezels sport a golden finish. The rear of the device also features a monochrome Iron-Man mask image.

Unfortunately, it’s not powered by an Arc Reactor. The wireless charging dock is cleverly shaped like Iron Man’s Arc Reactor though.

The handset also features a special Iron Man theme offering wallpapers, fonts and colour schemes to match the Avenger.

The special edition handset comes with the same base specs as the regular Galaxy S6 Edge. It is, however, only available as a 64GB variant.

Samsung hasn’t announced if the handset will be released outside of South Korea, China, and Hong Kong. It could be quite the challenge to get your hands on one; only 1,000 handsets will be available initially.
