Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy Tab A, listing the tablet on its online store in Germany.

The Galaxy Tab A, according to the listing, has a 7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280x800. It features a quad-core processor, backed up by 1.5GB RAM. The specs listing mentions 8GB of memory, which you can expand further with a microSD card.

On the camera side of things, the Galaxy Tab A features a 5MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

Confirming a recent rumour, the listing suggests that the Galaxy Tab A won't support the S Pen.

The tablet has also appeared on a number of other online retailer websites with a price tag of €169. Samsung is yet to make any announcements regarding its availability.
