Samsung rebrands London Heathrow's Terminal 5
Those passing through Terminal 5 at London’s Heathrow Airport may be in for a surprise over the next two weeks as Samsung has temporarily taken it over and rebranded it as the "Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5."

The terminal will have all of its signage devoted to Samsung’s Galaxy S5 smartphone, but management at Heathrow were quick to clarify that the actual terminal name has not been changed. A statement said, “Heathrow Terminal 5's signage and passenger wayfinding has not changed. Samsung have rented advertising space in Terminal 5 with a tongue-in-cheek campaign using the line: 'Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5.'"

Passengers passing through the terminal will have the opportunity to try out the phone in Dixons Travel stores within the terminal, and will be bombarded with advertisements which appear on all the advertising panels at the entrances, in the main terminal, and in gate rooms and baggage reclaim areas at T5.

Cheil UK, which is owned by Samsung, came up with the idea and it is the first time that an advertiser has been able to saturate the terminal.
