With CES out of the way, attention turns to Mobile World Congress in March where Samsung is expected to announce a smartwatch of its own.
Samsung’s smartwatch will reportedly follow in the footsteps of fellow Android Wear devices, the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, which are circular in shape. Unfortunately, that is all that is known about this mystery wearable. Understandably, Samsung had no comment to make on the possibility of a round-faced smartwatch.
Samsung is also tipped to announce two Galaxy S6 models. One will be a traditional flagship like the Galaxy S5 before it, while the other will emulate the Galaxy Note Edge and feature a curved display. The standard Galaxy S6 may be made of metal.
There’s plenty of time for Samsung to switch up its plans before Mobile World Congress. We will keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
