CES is over and while the world waits for the Apple Watch, there's the not so small matter of Mobile World Congress on the way.
This yearly event is held in Barcelona and takes place from the 2nd to the 5th of March 2015. It's a place to showcase all things mobile (unsurpisingly) and where many manufacturers wait to make their biggest annoucements.
Actually, its often the day before where these really huge reveals happen, and it's looking the same for 2015. On March 1st, Samsung will hold their fairly regular 'Unpacked' event, and they're teasing us with the above curvy image. If history holds, they'll be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S6 and this image strongly suggests that at least one variant of the device will sport a curved screen.
Last year, the company turned some heads with the extra curved screen real estate on the Galaxy Note 4 Edge and putting this tech into their premium range of smartphones would certainly create a stir but at the same time it's not clear every user is interested in curved screens right now.
For that reason, we would expect there to be a conventionally-shaped S6 as well, at least if Samsung wants to try to prop up their sales in 2015.
So don't forget to tune in on March 1st, where there will be plenty of news for mobile fans.
