Samsung is set to unveil a brand new range of tablets early next month at an event to be held in New York on June 12th. The company has been sending invitations out to select media this week for the Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 event, and although there's little by way of information regarding the products set to be unveiled it's widely expected that the Tab S will be among the biggest announcements.
Rumours have been circulating for a while that a new tablet range was in the offing from the South Korean company, but a lack of concrete information has kept people guessing. The latest reports, however, suggest that the series will feature two form factors, one an 8.4" device and the other a larger 10.5" tablet. Both are said to offer the same specifications, and will feature an AMOLED display.
Also rumoured to feature on the devices are fingerprint sensors like those found on the Galaxy S5 smartphone which launched eaerlier this year, and has been performing well for the company, shipping in excess of 11 million units in its first month of availability.
