Virtual Reality is pretty much here, and you're going to be seeing it everywhere in the days and months and years to come.
It will be in schools and homes and shops, changing how we watch movies, learn, work and play. And it could also help with personal therapy. The folks at Samsung are looking into helping people to face their fears through VR.
And, naturally, they're starting with spiders... (subs are available in the options)
We're not sure if everyone will be cured by having the experience of a spider crawling over them in VR but it's an interesting take on aversion therapy. Rather than jumping straight into the real creature you can work up with a virtual version, and with the level of graphics currently available it doesn't look like a totally convincing one.
Now we're just thinking of the creepy things game developers are going to do with this kind of technology...
