Naturally, Samsung did not mention this device in the invitation, but its regular Unpacked event in the days leading up to IFA usually plays host to Note announcements. Combine this with months of rumour, and it’s likely that the large handset will make an appearance.
The Note 4 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD screen, which may curve; a Snapdragon 805 or Exynos processor, depending on the region; 3GB RAM; and the latest version of Android 4.4. If the screen does feature a curve, it is unlikely to be as pronounced as that found on the Samsung Galaxy Round.
We’re also hoping to hear about the Galaxy Alpha, and Samsung’s range of wearable technology, including its smartwatch and VR headset. Stay tuned for more news from Samsung from its Unpacked event on September 3rd.
