Samsung will upgrade the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge cameras soon

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have impressive cameras, yet they may get even better soon.

It is being reported that Samsung is working on a new update to the camera app. The update, according to sources who spoke to SamMobile, will roll out with the Android 5.1.1 update.

Both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are set to receive some extra camera features. It’s not clear what these features will be.

Of course, that hasn’t prevented speculation. Some say that the update will add support for the full Google camera API on Lollipop. This would include RAW shooting and shutter speed control. Both these features are available on the competing HTC One M9 and LG G4.

The update will also make its way to the codenamed Samsung Zen and Samsung Noble devices, the former of which is expected to be the long rumoured Galaxy Note 5.
