Samsung working on larger S6 edge Plus

Samsung is apparently developing a larger version of the Galaxy S6 edge, dubbed the S6 edge Plus.

The handset will feature a larger 5.7-inch dual-edge display. It’s also tipped to offer a larger battery, which should go some way towards resolving the battery issues faced by its 5-inch counterpart. That’s all according to SamMobile’s inside sources.

Elsewhere, it’s expected the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus will come with Android 5.1.1 preloaded out of the box. This detail isn’t all that surprising, but there isn’t that much information about the device, so we’ll take all we can get.

The Galaxy S6 edge Plus should launch in the third quarter of this year. There are no details just yet regarding a concrete release date.
