Samsung’s Galaxy S6 will be in attendance at CES, but it won’t be shown off to the public.
Only selected partners will be able to see the handset in person, according to SamMobile. These partners are most likely carriers and accessory makers. Of course, once the handset is shown off to anyone, it is more likely that candid photos and first impressions will be more readily available.
It is also reported that a variant of the Galaxy S6 will also be at the showcase. It is expected that this variant is the Galaxy S6 Edge. The original Edge was a novel handset, though it wasn’t received as warmly by critics as Samsung would have liked.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to feature a brand new design, a qHD Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 7420 or a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with TouchWiz.
Samsung is unlikely to wait too long before announcing the Galaxy S6. The manufacturer is expected to announce the Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress in February.
