Sony spilled the beans about the Xperia E5 a little early on social media, but has now officially announced the handset.
The Xperia E5 features a 5-inch 720p screen, a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. In terms of the camera, the Xperia E5 packs a 13MP rear sensor with auto-focus, HDR, flash and a 3x zoom, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Like many Xperia handsets, Sony is promising an impressive battery life. Its 2700mAh battery should keep the handset running for up to two days.
The Xperia E5 will be available in black or white. A release date and pricing information is yet to be revealed.
