Sony’s vaunted
VAIO PC line is busily evolving away at
CES 2012, highlighting a number of new technologies and prototypes, notably improvements to their
2nd Generation Intel Core i7 processor Z series.
These include slate design PCs, Ultrabooks and all-in-one
BRAVIA powered computers sporting glasses-less 3D. About damn time!
Smartphones
A priority for
Sony is increasing its general Smartphone presence. New models marry sleek design with feature heavy templates, like the recently announced
Sony Xperia S, offering full HD with 3D image capture.
Similarly, the new
Xperia ion is
Sony’s first LTE Smartphone boasting a HD 720p Reality Display fuelled by
Sony’s Mobile
BRAVIA technology. A thin aluminium frame houses a 12 MP camera with rapid response times.
Beyond this,
Sony’s imminent rebranding of
Sony Ericsson in March should help matters.
