Sony releases new security update

Sony Mobile has released a new security update for the Xperia Z5 series, Z4 Table and Z3 Plus, as revealed in a new post on the Xperia blog.

The new update (32.3.A.2.33) includes the 1 March 2017 Google security patches and is also thought to fix audio issues some users were experiencing as a result of the introduction of Android Nougat firmware.

The update replaces Android’s integrated audio effects with Sony’s Audio Effects Engine in an attempt to improve sound performance on Xperia devices.

The update also fixes an issue some users were experiencing when restarting their device’s default Bluetooth application.
