Sony Xperia XZ Premium named 'Best New Smartphone' by GSMA

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium flagship smartphone has received the ‘Best New Smartphone or Connected Mobile Device at MWC 2017’ award at the GSMA’s annual Global Mobile Awards, as noted in an article from MENAFN.com.

The Sony Xperia XZ received 30 awards for its Mobile World Congress from a range of different tech publications, including Wired's 'Coolest of MWC' plus Tech Radar's 'Reader's Choice' and 'Best Smartphone'.

Speaking about the award, president and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications Hiroki Totoki said:
