Sony mobile has made a habit of releasing smaller versions of its Z brand phones, with the recent Z2 compact managing to cram most of its big brothers specs into a much more pocketable form.
It's a done deal that the Xperia Z3 will be the companies next big handset but we've also got some early details of the smaller version. According to leaked specs in a tweet by@DooMLoRD_XDAthe Z2 compact will sport a 4.5 inch screen, a2.5 GHz, Adreno 330 processor, 2GB RAM, a20.7 MP rear cam and a2.1 MP front facing camera. It will also run Android 4.4.2 at launch.
That's some top drawer specs, and also suggests that the full fat Z3 will be even faster when it launches.
There's no release date for either phone just yet but the Xperia Z1 arrived in September 2013 with the compact version in December, while the Z2 launched in March 2014 and the Z2 compact should launch any day now.
