With the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact on sale, Sony's attention has turned to the XperiaZ4, which is on course to be the world's most powerful smartphone.
According to Android Origin's "trusted sources," the Xperia Z4 will feature a 64-bit 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, a massive 4GB RAM, and an Adreno 430 GPU. This will be housed behind a 5.5-inch QHD 1440 x 2560 display. It will also have a curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a similar resolution to recent Xperia flagship devices, and 32GB of internal storage.
Apparently, the Xperia Z4 will place a greater emphasis on audio. The device will allegedly have a dedicated amp, for example. From a design perspective, the Xperia Z4 will resemble its predecessors and will keep the OmniBalance design.
Of course, it’s early days yet, so take these specs with a pinch of salt. As it stands, the Xperia Z4 would be an incredibly powerful device, but specs are subject to change. Stay tuned for more news regarding the Xperia Z4 as Sony builds up to an official announcement.
The Xperia Z4 is expected to be released early next year.
