Sony’s Xperia Z4 is unlikely to be released any time soon, but we may know its specs thanks to a benchmark test.
Benchmarking site GFXBench put the Xperia Z4 through its paces. And now we have an idea of what to expect from Sony’s upcoming flagship as a result. The Xperia Z4 will have a familiar octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 graphics, along with 3GB RAM. It’s expected to feature a 5.1-inch 1080 x 1920 screen, bolstered by Sony’s Triluminos technology.
The rear of the handset will feature a 19 megapixel camera, while a 4.8 megapixel camera sits on the front of the device. The benchmarked model had 23GB of spare storage, which indicates that the site tested a 32GB model.
Sony hasn’t announced the Xperia Z4 yet, but these specs look like a decent bet. Unfortunately, we still have to wait a little while to hear how accurate they are. Sony is expected to launch the Xperia Z4 this summer or in the third quarter of the year.
