Souped up LG G3 outed in Korea
A 4G ready and more powerful version of LG’s flagship smartphone, the G3, could be on the cards, according to a retail store in Korea.

The store is currently encouraging customers to sign up for more information and to pre-order the LG G3 Cat 6. Category 6 LTE is capable of delivering speeds of up to 300Mbps, but isn’t supported by the G3’s current chip, the Snapdragon 801. This could mean that the device will get bumped up to a Snapdragon 805 processor.

LG hasn’t announced an upgraded version of the G3 just yet, so it’s not known if the store is completely wrong or has jumped the gun on this particular matter. The second piece of bad news is that the handset may not see a release outside of Asia. We’ll keep you posted on any new developments, but don’t get too excited just yet.
