Spotify notifies users of security breach
Spotify informed users that its systems and internal company data were compromised, though just one account was accessed.

The company posted on its website that it will be asking certain Spotify users to re-enter their account details to log in over the coming days, while Android app users will be asked to upgrade their app in the near future. iOS and Windows users appear to be in the clear.

While just one account was accessed, Spotify is taking this breach very seriously. The company said that it has taken steps to bolster security and will continue to take measures to protect users and their data.

Meanwhile, that one user should receive specific instructions regarding what they should do. According to Spotify, the user’s data that was compromised did not contain any password, financial or payment information.
