Stream your life with Sony Xperia Z2's YouTube app
Sony released a new camera app, Live on YouTube, for its Xperia Z2 that will allow users to live stream their lives.

The app allows 15 consecutive minutes of footage to be streamed directly from their smartphone’s camera to their own YouTube channel. One press of a button is all it takes to be broadcasting live to the world. As with browser based streams, the broadcaster will be able to see views, likes and dreaded dislikes appearing in real time.

This feature will allow Xperia Z2 owners to stream anything that takes their fancy, from their pet acting cute to an informative presentation and everything in between. We’re sure that many will find their own uses for the app.

In order to use the Live on YouTube, users must have a verified YouTube account that is in good standing and has not been flagged as breaching existing copyright laws. And then users will also have to avoid getting a copyright strike as a result of YouTube’s occasionally wacky Content ID system.

If you’re intrigued by the prospect of streaming your life, Live on YouTube is available to download from Google Play.
