Swiftkey is a predictive keyboard app much loved already by Android users. And it has just launched its free application in time for iOS8’s grand debut. Apple have never before permitted third-party keyboards, but with the advent of iOS8 all that has changed. And Swiftkey were one of the first in the door, getting their app online before the iPhone 6 goes on sale tomorrow.
SwiftKey distinguishes itself from typical keyboards by actively suggesting the next word it reckons you'll type. In addition it goes back and autocorrects any errors you’ve made and even inserts spaces when you missed them.
Swiftkey Co-Founder Ben Medlock states,
"It's always been our mission as a company to make it easy for everyone to create and communicate on mobile.. This marks a big change for the millions who use iPhone, iPad and iPod touch: access to more choice and greater customization is, literally, right at their fingertips."
