Samsung recently leaked everything that anyone would want to know about the Galaxy S6 Active. Everything apart from the release date, that is. A new teaser image indicates that we may hear about its release schedule very soon.
US carrier AT&T teased customers with a tweet. “Only one thing is missing from your workout,” it wrote. "It's almost time to activate your full power."
The Galaxy S6 Active is a more rugged version of the Galaxy S6, improving its water, dust and shock resistance. The recent leak, if accurate, means we’ll be getting our hands on a device with a 5.1-inch, 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset, and the same 2,550mAh battery as the S6.
This is a device that aims to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts. It will come with an Activity Zone app that incorporates weather data, a compass and barometric pressure readings.
Samsung is expected to officially reveal the device very soon.
