If you haven’t managed to get up close with the Apple Watch just yet, and you can’t wait until it launches, you can try it out online thanks to an emulator.
The developers of the Pipes news app have made a Watch Demo site available, so you can play around with the eagerly anticipated device. Your mouse takes the place of your finger and you can see what the Watch’s interface looks like. App developers can also upload an image to see how their app logo will look on the wearable.
Most of the featured apps simply display a static image, but you can browse around at your leisure. The Apple Watch emulator also showcases how the Glances and push notifications will work. Of course, the availability of this emulator benefits Pipes too, as the app is given a prominent position on the dummy Watch.
The Apple Watch is expected to go on sale in March. Apple announced that the Watch will retail for a starting price of $349.
