LG has obviously decided that having just the one self-branded Android tablet wasn't quite enough, particularly when compared to some of the more prolific manufacturers among their competition, so they've announced that three brand new devices are on the way in the very near future.
Expected to debut at the MedPI tradeshow, which kicks off tomorrow, May 13th, in Monaco, the three devices in question are the G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1. Although there's not a huge amount known about the tablets so far, users can expected that they won't ver too far from the beaten path, adhering to the form factors and functionality we've come to expect from Android tablets these days.
It's being speculated that some of the features from LG's popular smartphone range could make their way to the new G Pads, including the Knock Code feature which allows users to unlock their devices by tapping the screen in a pre-defined pattern.
At the moment, the G Pad 8.3 is LG's main tablet device, and it's likely that the specs and build quality of these new offerings won't be a million miles away from that, so if you can't wait the 24 hours it'll likely take until we find everything out, you can at least do a little research on that one.
