Twitter gets $300m Saudi investment
Twitter has recieved investment worth $300m thanks to Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and his investment company Kingdom Holding Co. The company, which has now raised more than $700m in investment this year, has so far managed to stay away from floating publically. bin Talal, who has an estimated worth of around $19.6 billion, is no stanger to the communications game, given that he already owns a substantial stake in News Corp.

Speaking about the investment, Alwaleed said "Our investment in Twitter reaffirms our ability in identifying suitable opportunities to invest in promising, high-growth businesses with a global impact."
