Pre-orders for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are open in the UK now. They’re coming soon to Ireland, but if we look at the UK process, we can get a feel for how it will work here in the coming weeks.
First things first – Get your pre-order in as soon as humanly possible, because these, as ever, are liable to sell out in a matter of hours, if not minutes. Keep your eyes on this link bookmark it if need be. It’s available to order on 26th September in Ireland. But it’s worth having the page open and constantly refreshing from 11:50pm the night before.
And remember, if the Apple Store sells out quickly, mobile carriers and licenced retailers also have their own iPhone stock to get through, and you have as good a chance at pre-ordering your smartphone through them as anyone.
