Apple has been making some big changes in the last few months, introducing two new handsets in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and working towards their first ever wearable in the Apple Watch. And they've got more big things on the way - and we mostly mean a really big iPad.
Rumours of the iPad Pro have been circulating for a while now, with the device likely to sports a 12.9 inch display and be more focussed on the business user. And there's also a chance that it could be the first Apple tablet with an official stylus.
Industry analyst Ming-chi Kuo of KGI Securities has been taking a close look at Apple's activity over the last few months, particularly the patents its been filing, and has targeted the introduction of a stylus as a very probable direction for the company. As part of a device which is all about productivity, it would make a lot of sense and would make the package even more appealing for users.
Other speculation suggests it would be charged via a Lightning connector and start out with basic functionality, adding more sensors as the tech grows and expands. It's all about giving the user more - a better way to interact and a more premium experience, especially given the high price that the iPad Pro is likely to demand.
It remains to be seen whether this guesswork proves to be true, especially as the device itself has yet to be confirmed by Apple. Before that we've got the launch of the Apple Watch in March 2015 and potentially a smaller version of the iPhone.
