Google’s Street View service has taken to the roads of Russia so that users can take virtual tours around Moscow and St. Petersburg. The news was published via a blog with particular sites highlighted as “must see” places. Google has invited users to visit
Red Square, the
Moscow Kremlin, and the
Peter and Paul Fortress. Google has said that it wants to expand into other countries, cultures and sites. No indication has been given as to what country will be given the Street View treatment next. In the meantime, and as reported earlier, Google is also engaging in a survey of the
Coral Reef.
