Windows 10 is pretty big news - not only will it represent Microsoft's attempt to reverse the major issues found in Windows 8 but it also sees the various strands of their technology being unified. That includes desktop PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile devices, as well as the software powering the Xbox One home console.
That's a lot of different elements to keep in play, so why not add one more to the mix. Reports are suggesting that Microsoft could launch a new flagship handset sooner than expected- before the end of the summer 2015. This new mobile device would be all about showcasing the best of the new Windows 10 experience.
Of course we don't yet have a confirmed release date for any version of the operating system so the handset is still in the realm of speculation but its a vote of confidence from the tech giant. The company recently confirmed that not every Lumia-branded phone will be compatible with the Windows 10 upgrade. More details as we get them.
