Windows 10 is a big deal for Microsoft - intending to unify its operating systems across desktop, tablet, mobile and even the Xbox One video games console. And it certainly sounds like an impressive achivement, but its not set to be as inclusive as it first sounded.
Microsoft's Chris Weber has been speaking out about the upgrade to Windows 10 and said that the company would hope to bring it to as many users as possible, but"not every [Lumia] phone will upgrade or support all possibleWindows 10 features."
He went on to say that they will chiefly be focussing on handsets currently running Windows 8 or 8.1 but it seems clear that, in some cases, the phones themselves simply won't be powerful enough to handle every feature available in Windows 10. It's likely that only the newest phones, or even ones that haven't been released yet, will truly showcase the best of the platform.
Time will tell, but expect plenty more news about Windows 10 in the coming months as it gear up for a late 2015 release.
