Windows Phone 8.1 could arrive on new Nokia Lumia devices soon
The Windows Phone 8.1 software is currently undergoing testing and could arrive on new Nokia Lumia handsets in the coming weeks.

According to Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Windows Phone Program Management Joe Belfiore, the software is finished and is being tested. He tweeted, “WP8.1 sw [software] is finished for the Lumia phones that started shipping a couple weeks ago.. and we're testing the update code now. Fixes ongoing.”

Belfiore didn’t name names, but the newest Nokia handsets include the Lumia 930, Lumia 630 and Lumia 635, which were unveiled at the Build 2014 developer conference.

Unfortunately, Belfiore didn’t reveal when the software rollout would occur and his tweet didn’t have enough space to mention if older Nokia Lumia handsets would be able to install the OS.
