Chinese company Xiaomi has a finger in pretty much every tech pie around, and now they're getting involved in drones.
The Xiaomi Mi Drone is set to be unveiled tomorrow, but a teaser video has already leaked.
It definitely looks like a drone, with a splash of orange that's in keeping with the Mi logo and a glimpse of a familiar but pleasing enough design.
The most interesting part is certainly that camera which looks to include a stabiliser and a great freedom of motion. Early reports suggest that the Mi Drone will also sport 4K video capture which would make it very much a prosumer item, competing directly with the likes of DJI.
If that turns out to be true then this means there's a major new player on the block, and one with a history of undercutting its rivals with high quality, low cost products. Another whisper is suggesting that the Mi Drone could retail for around €600, which would make it hugely competitive.
We'll have more details after the official launch on the 25th of May, 2016.
