You can finally embed Reddit posts

Reddit is an amazing resource but it's also one that can be a very closed system. That's about to change with the addition of embeddable posts.

So you'll be able to use a code to include a thread on another website, which is ideal for conversations that are still ongoing. You'll also be able to simply click to go straight to the site to add your own voice to whatever everyone is shouting about.

The functionality is set to roll out to all in the near future, with Reddit currently focussing on partners like AOL in the States. You can get a little look at how the embeds look on a live site over here.

Maybe this will help stop the practise of certain sites pretty much copying and pasting Reddit content without any hat tips? Probably not...
