In case you didn't know, YouTube is owned by Google and it seems like the massive video streaming site is going to get a redesign to bring it more into line with the rest of the parent companys branding.
A material design revamp is on the way for YouTube, at least according to a test site which has been found be a Reddit user.
The method for signing into the new version of the site has been posted be a Reddit user, and here's how it goes on Chrome:
1) go to https:www.youtube.com/?gl=US
2) open the developer tools (ctrl + shift + i)
3) go to the 'Resources´ tab and delete the VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE cookie for the youtube domain
4) go to the console and define the VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE cookie using the following command:
5) reload the page
The method brings up the new version of the site, which follows on with the general rounded material design look and feel. Mechanically its all the same, with the visuals the only main change.
Given that this test version is already available, it's reasonable to assume that a full release will follow soon.
