Marvel is everywhere these days, on network TV with Agent Carter and SHIELD and with two cinema outings set for release in 2015 - The Avengers 2 and Ant-Man.
But that level of domination isn't quite enough for the comic empire, they've got their sights on Netflix too.
The first Marvel series will premiere on the streaming service on the 10th of April 2015 and it's going to be all about the blind lawyer of Hell's Kitchen who has a way with a stick. Daredevil screams onto streams in 13 hour-long episodes as Matt Murdock fights injustice by day and night with a little more violence when the sun goes down.
Daredevil will be played by Charlie Cox and he's surrounded by an impressive cast including Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (he's a baddie) andRosario Dawson as Claire Temple. Rumours suggest that the freedom of Netflix will make this a more mature show than the network offerings so far - mostly we're hoping for some good beatings.
Marvel's Daredevil is the first in an ambitious line of comic offerings coming to the streaming service. It will be followed by series based on Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage in the coming years, all culminating in a massive mini series where the characters come together as The Defenders. Which all sounds very cool indeed.
Daredevil debuts on Netflix on Friday the 10th of April 2015 at 8am GMT. You could watch the whole thing in one day!
