Fair City Actress lands role in The Fall
Aoibhin Garrihy, former Fair City actress, is making the move to Belfast thriller The Fall

26-year-old actress Aoibhin Garrihy is best known for her role in Fair City as Neasa Dillon, but the Castleknock actress has moved on to darker territories with her new role in The Fall, a Belfast-based thriller about a man who murders women at nightfall, unbeknownst to his close family.

Playing Lyndsey Conklin, Garrihy will star alongside X-Files’ Gillian Anderson and former model-turned-actor Jamie Dornan, who plays serial killer Paul Spector. As Dornan was cast in the movie adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey, filming for the second season on the thriller series was delayed for a period of time, but is now in production since two weeks ago. It will continue for another three months. Fellow Irish actress Tara Lee, who plays Emma in RTE’s Raw, is also a cast member of the newly fledged show.
