Game of Thrones Season Preview in Dublin
Stars of HBO show Game of Thrones made a visit to the capital for the new season premiere

It’s shot in Ireland regularly so it’s not a major shock the makers of HBO’s Game of Thrones visited our isle for the fourth season’s premiere showing. The cast and crew of the hit fantasy show visited Dublin last night and took part in a question and answer slot after the viewing in the Lighthouse.

Michael McElhattan, Kristian Nairn, Liam Cunningham and Ian McIllhinney play Ser Davos Seaworth, Hodor, Barristan Selmy and Roose Bolton respectively All four attended the screening and crowd participation question and answer gig in the cinema last night. The show returns to Irish screens 2am April 7 on Sky Atlantic.

Speaking of the show’s success, Cunningham stated “I knew it was going to be good because I know how to read a script after this many years. But I had no idea it was going to turn into a phenomenon. I think people like it because it's a show written by grown-ups for grown up.”
