Why Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist will be Good AND Bad
How do, Ken?

Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist is a Machinima web series dedicated to the lore surrounding popular Capcom brawlers Ryu and Ken. It will chronicle their style, their training and their history, with notable appearances from their master Gouken (debuting in SFIV) and super-evil-funtime-nightmare-murder-hell-death fan favourite Akuma!

Let’s get to it!

Pros

Spearheaded by Joey Ansah (Desh, The Bourne Ultimatium) – Dude can move.
Tackling perhaps the ONLY interesting storyline in Street Fighter canon.
Fighting looks decent…
Proof-of-Concept short ‘Street Fighter: Legacy’ was not awful

Cons

It’s a Machinima Web Series. Ruh-roh. I remember Mortal Kombat Legacy 1 and 2. I wish I couldn’t…
Effects look balls…
There seems to be a unfavourable amount of ‘Acting’
Ryu and Ken’s sparring mitts look authentically stupid. And out of place. Presumable they’re to soften the blow, despite the fact said blow might be ON FIRE!

All 12 episodes of Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist will be available on Machinima on May 23rd.
